Crafted of lightweight, breathable, water-Resistant and quick-dry fabric, these are great for Fall Hiking probably not great for winter since they are breathable and they are very breathable which is great for Fall Hiking because of the changing weather and adjustable cord lock around the cuffs helps to keep bugs off. For me they were good for the inclines it was about a 5 hour hike round-trip and I was comfortable the whole time. I like the look and the bonus of them being Great to Hike in makes these pants great.
